Our mission Statement
The Coptic Orthodox Collegiate Alliance (COCA) is committed to empowering and unifying Coptic Orthodox student groups at educational institutions across different regions within New England. Our mission is to support the independent nature of these student-led groups while fostering a sense of unity, collaboration, and spiritual growth as a collective body.
Our Goals
Unity
The Bible tells us time and again that fraternity is crucial in our ministry and testimony as Christians. Unity with Christ begins with unity among ourselves and with our neighbor.
Education
As students, our primary objective should be the completion of our degree program. We should seek to further the acquisition of knowledge in our own disciplines and across disciplines.
Fellowship
As it says in 1 John 1:3-4: "We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ."
Worship
A crucial aspect of our ministry is maintaining the Coptic Church’s traditions and worship. Our efforts will strengthen the faith of many and cause the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church to thrive.
